The “Yellow Transparent” apple tree in my back garden has especially good fall colour this year. Here is a series of photos taken from October 17th through 24th. We’ve had two weeks of sunny days that began and ended with fog or mist. One or the other (what’s the difference, I wonder) was present when some of these were taken.
Beautiful pics!

I’ve just baked an apple Charlotte with what must really be the last apples off our tree – they were on the ground when we got home from four days away.

This “Yellow Transparent” tree produces apples in July and August, just when there are so many other summer fruits to be enjoyed. And even though they’re good apples, I’d prefer ones that aren’t ready until late summer/fall. Good for you to use up fallen apples!
