Thanks, Pat. There’s at least one type of plant putting on some sort of show at any time from November through February. Those chrysanthemums are done now, and the cigar plants will be finished off when we have real frost (but I have 2 rooted cuttings in the house for next year). But the winter jasmine is in full bloom right now, and in January we’ll have snowdrops and the first crocuses. The Chinese witch hazel has buds for once, because I watered it generously all summer. It should bloom in January too.
