A nice display of bluebells, Audrey. Mine have been out a week or so now, and I’m always sad to see them go. They thrive without much attention. Do I also spy forget-me-nots in the background? I’m always torn by those – so beautiful and cheering, but they have a habit of springing up in the wrong places.

Yes, those are bluebells and forget-me-nots–both weedy things but pretty enough when they bloom. Once the flowers are done, control measures (i.e., pulling up) start. Even with that, I have way too many of both. Thanks for your comment, Michael!

Such a pretty scene! I love the blue against the muted colors of the fiddleheads.

Thanks, Liz! Yes, this is the “blue and gold” time of year in the garden. Fleeting, as are many good things.

You can almost hear the fiddle heads playing–lovely tune by the way. 🙂

Looks like the string section of the orchestra is tuning up for their performance. 🙂

I thought they were ferns. Still, really pretty.

Thank you! Yes, ferns unfurling, and bluebells and forget me nots.
